About Peter Jenkins
Born 1953 in Sunderland Co Durham and then moved to the lake district with family 11 years later. I have been taking photographs since 1970 with many different types of camera.My photography training started in the RAF and then moved to Southport Art College. I class myself as a generalist and hope to tackle all photographic subject with a sense of professionalism. Whilst working nowadays predominanthy with 35mm DSLR cameras I still use film on 35mm and 120 cameras as well as using compact digital and film cameras. There is no perfect camera for all jobs and to extend my range I hope to work with large format cameras in the near future. There is something magical about looking at a 5 x 4 neg or transparency that digital does not give. I...
