The Portuguese have been sailing the waters of the world for hundreds of years. As they entered or exited the Tagus river, near Lisbon, they passed by this fortress. It is one of the iconic images of the area.
About Kirsten Giving
I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors.
