Ever since he was a young child growing up in rural east central Florida Charlie has had a passion for exploring the Florida outdoors, what he affectionately refers to as "The real Florida" not the theme parks, shopping malls and busy retail corridors that are so popular with visitors to the state but the swamps, backwoods, lakes rivers, natural springs and coastal shore lines, places that most people don't get to see in person. It was these lifelong experiences of exploring these virtually untouched natural places that led him to his love of photography and the ability to document his experiences in these special places.
