Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

In 2016 I was fortunate to have my mother and stepfather take me on a Danube River Cruise. It’s something I’d always dreamed about doing. We went on an Avalon boat. One of the stops the trip made was in Roth, Bavaria, Germany.
Roth is a stunningly picturesque town. Its central square has a beautiful fountain, several restaurants, and traditional houses. This is one of those traditional houses.
These are the upper stories of the house. You can see the classic construction with half-timber work. You can see the exposed beams, while the remaining spaces are filled with plaster. I love this look.
The color pops because this was done with cross processing. That is, I began with slide film. I then had the developers use regular print chemicals to develop the film, to make prints out of it rather than slides. This causes the color to shine.

Yes, it's easy to see it in a spectacular tangerine-orange sunset, but there's also serenity to be found in the smallest katydid nymph exploring its world of a trumpet flower. There's compassion in the way a swallowtail butterfly nestles in against the pollen of a day lily. The intertwining of the roots of trees, the gentle whorls of a seashell, they all hold something for us to appreciate.
