Simply filthy working conditions, asbestos, solvent fumes, lye, and other things in the air, on the ground, on every surface, makes this kind of a miserable place to work. But its work, and they had to get it done and just make the best of it. Many dreamed of working outside where the air was fresher.

It's a real wonder how they fixed anything under these conditions, the parts are actually pretty precise. And yet they repaired a number of locomotives, by stripping them down and rebuilding them.

My name is Mike Savad, I create one of a kind images. Photo realistic, is what people think of first. I specialize in job themes, such as Pharmacist, Doctor, Firemen, Lawyer, etc. Steampunk is another favorite. I'm certain you will find something that you will like.
