Thanks Blair!

Another excellent close-up Dean. Great composition and use of dof to bring up the detail in the background....v/f

Thanks Rosy, right about the human intervention I think!

Thanks Oiyee!

Love all your Buddha shots but this Buddha face especially appeals to me. Beautiful shot, Dean! F/V

Thanks Luke!

This statue has a lot of character with the busted eye and the multi-tone finish. Great eye for simple things Dean! Well captured and executed. The closed eyes and the face really draw me in :) F/V

Odd, thank you!

:) Thanks Alec, appreciate your kind words!

Wonderful details and colors. Excellent shot.

Dean, wonderful capture and more great imagery to promote deeper thoughts of our self awareness...v/f

Thanks Annemeet. I think the yellow is gold leaf which worshippers can purchase from the temple and then stick onto the face of the buddha.

Thank you Cheryl!

Thanks Daniel!

Cheers Kaye!

Thanks Rebecca!

Magnificant capture Dean!! V/F!

Another fantastic photo, Dean!

Another gorgeous Buddha with lovely detail, Dean. I too wondered about the yellow. V&F

Beautiful image! Is the yellow damage or was something glued on it?

I love this close-up, Dean. The way you've captured the grey-green patina of the neck and face, the terracotta tones of the background, and the gold leaf which remains on the face like kisses, is just wonderful.

Thanks Chris, appreciate the kind feedback!

Another fascinating image Dean........this damaged Buddha looks so happy and at peace - Chris (F/V)
