Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Artist's Description

The Castillo de San Marco is the oldest National Monument in the United States. It was ordered to be built in 1672 by Spanish Queen Mariana Victoria, to protect Florida from the British, pirates and British Privateers. It was built of Coquina, little shells calcified together over about a half million years, in the marshlands near St. Augustine. Cannon balls would either bounce off or be absorbed into the stone. After 23 years of construction, the impenetrable fort was completed in 1695. It was attacked many times but never taken by force.
