Overlooking MacRitchie Reservoir in Singapore from the trail. Caught this mid-day view with beautiful overhanging trees framing the mostly dried-up creek trickling into the lake. This nature trail is composed of boardwalk and dirt trails along the South-East portion of the reservoir.
MacRitchie Reservoir was completed in 1868 while the area was under British Colonial rule. Today there is a large area of forest around the reservoir, with trails through many areas, allowing hikers and joggers to get away from the bustling city.
