The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

I paint patterns and textures, scan them in, mask them in with the original photo, print them to canvas, then paint on them further. Then i'll scan the final product back in. My name is Ryan and I am the artist. The pieces you see here are created from a revolving mixed-medium process that utilizes both digital and traditional methods. I use an image that I strip down to basic black and white, then I simplify that image to black and white. I use different paint and texture pattern masked in with the image. Then the pieces are printed, then painted on more, then scanned back in. This cycle continues until the piece is sold, so the pieces are always evolving.
