I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

A woman dare not tell her age, dear Mommy said to me.
You must sit straight, enunciate and only SIP your tea.
Head up high with shoulders back as ladies never slouch.
Knees together, hands in lap and no feet on the couch!
Get that hair out of your eyes and keep your stockings straight.
Eat your veggies, don't complain and dare not stay out late!
Dont chew gum or belch aloud and never ever smoke.
Never giggle at the crass of someones dirty joke.
Whiskey is for garish men and beer is coarse and crude.
Speaking out of turn, my dear, is unrefined and rude.
Dont get dirty, do not swear and never be flirtatious.
Ladies must remain genteel and always calm and gracious.
Daydreams are for lazy girls, their heads up in a cloud,
Busy hands are happy hands, so make your mother proud.
Well, dear Mother, here I am, a product of your teaching.
All those years I tried to please and listened to the preaching.
Im over fifty, gla...
YES, ALL OF THE ART IS MINE! I have a varied style and I work in many mediums. This is not a collection of works from other artists. I have always felt myself to be a right-brained person in a left-brained world. Thirty-two of my years has been devoted to planning and scheduling large projects for construction, aerospace, transportation and energy in many parts of the country to keep the rent or mortgage paid and food on the table. For some strange reason, my humor got the best of me and I was always asked to do underground cartoons and caricatures to document events or comical situations. I began my art early when my parents stuck me in the back of the family car at 3 with pad and pencil and told me to Shut up and draw! I have been...
