Congratulations, your work is featured on the homepage of "Created by my Hands"

Lil, OH I just love all your paintings of your beautiful dog!!... another favorite!!/vt!

Also, thank you to the buyer from Charlotte. As someone born in NC, I lived many years in Charlotte in 3 different places over about 12 years. Boykins are pretty popular there. Oddly enough, I never saw one until my husband saw a couple on the beach at Sunset and since we had lost our old cockapoo, he was so excited, I ended up buying one while I was in Florida!

Thanks all. Different versions of Charlie seem to sell a lot but this is probably my favorite. Thank you for the kind wishes! :)

Congrats on your sale Lil!!

Great work! Congrats on your sale!!! v

This painting you created is just too cool, Lil! I really love the expression of this dog, so cute:)! Congratulations on your sale:!!

Wonderful, congrats on your sale!

Thank you for the feature, Chrisann!! :)

Thank you, Marlene. That painting is just pure love from my Charlie to the afghan that I crocheted for my son when he was a baby. It idn't paint itself but pur love painted it. Thank you so much and I do try to be cheerful (even when some of mine are gloomy, there's an element of hope).

Amazing delightful painting with personality! How do you do it? I see lovely energy in all that you is so cheerful-I like that!

Thank you, Bob. I've truly enjoyed your site. When Charlie looks at you with those eyes and you talk while he cocks his head this way an back, I could be in the worst mood in the world and start smiling.

Lil this is wonderful, wonderful painting! Charlies eyes and expression how can you not be happy looking at this!

Thank you, Susan. it needed something special to tie it together and this just came to me. :) I cuddle with him every single night.

You just want to cuddle up with him! Nice strong contrasts of color. I like how you painted the repeats the lines you have going on in his hair and just ties the whole painting together. Beautiful!

Charlie's hair isn't quite so light, except in the sun but that's his face, eyes, expression and sweet velvet, soft mouth. Yeah, Tyler, I love that dog more than I can ever even say.

this is sooo good,, the expression you have created is stunning...your love of dogs truly shows in this wonderful creation! fav/vote

This,Lil , Has to be a fav for you. what a doll. Great Painting. Is he that soft.? What a miracle to paint girl. Computer can't do much too long with out resetting or I loose it.Put new thing on . Thanks for comments, miss relationships. Vote Hug,Marsha

Lil Taylor replied:

Yes, Marsha, he is that soft. His fur is like soft hair. I miss relationships too. Are you ok or not doing well right now? Thank you for your comments!!

Lol, Lil!

Awe, He's really sweet. Great job and I know this is one of those blankets your son will cherish! I would find it hard to paint a crochetd blanket, nice job on the detail and the fur. Sunny's fur so curly, i could go crazy trying but maybe I'll attempt it one day. this is a favorite!

Lil Taylor replied:

Thank you, Judy. It's so much easier painting dogs you aren't emotionally attached to AND that have short fur. Long and medium, curly, wavy fur with highlights and stuff is a nightmare. I don't know why I did the crochet but I wanted to add an old-fashioned homey feel to it. Judy, this picture is just so great of you. It looks like the weight of the world iss off of you.
