This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
This is an image of my original pastel painting of tulips on archival wooden board. It is from my 'Tulipomania' series of oil, watercolour and pastel paintings. These magnificent white and yellow tulips, named 'Exotic Emperor', were on display at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Illinois, during spring. It is wonderful that so many varieties of flora can thrive in the climatic extremes of Illinois. I have rendered the main flowers in a reasonable degree of botanical detail, while at the same time using artistic techniques of leaving pastel strokes to show to emphasize that this is a painting/drawing - not a photo or scientific study.
'Tulipomania' refers to a time when Dutch collectors paid exorbitant prices for tulips from the Ottoman Empire.
