Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.
Artist's Description
This dirt road lined with the ubiquitous Tuscan cedars was in the area of Sienna.
One aspect that Tuscany is well known for is its cypress trees. These tall pin-point trees often line down the rural roads of the countrysides. Originally these trees came from Persia and Syria. What is most impressive about these cypress trees in Tuscany is that they can live up to 2,000 years or longer.
Historically, the Etruscans decided to plant these cypress trees around their sacred Necropolis (burial grounds). The Etruscans believed that the supernatural powers and strong, fragrant essential oils could ward off the demons and even the smell of death itself thus More Cypress Trees in a group ensuring a safe passage into the afterlife. The proper latin name Cupressus Sempervirens is sometimes known as the Mediterranean Cypress or the Tuscan Cypress. It is a beautiful evergreen upright conifer and was also grown to be used as a windbreaker.

I shot catalogs for Spencer Gifts and Lenox China among others. I shot fashion, runway and headshots until about 5 years ago as my wife and I started slowing to a merciful crawl and traveling and writing. My work has appeared in magazines from Shutterbug to...

Was this road in a higher elevation? Background just fades away into the clouds. Very effective! Liked!

It was higher than the surrounding landscape. Probably 1200 feet or so.
