I purchased this for a gift and the recipient was blown away. The artistry is alive in this bag with Frida. Perfect!

I absolutely LOVE Monica's artwork and it's extra special to be able to carry her artwork around with me wherever I go. Quality of the bag is good, too!

I’m very pleased with my Back2bike bag from artist John Kurtyka. The bag is high quality so it holds my library books quite securely. And since I’m a bike rider, I love the picture, so unique, people notice it and comment so I tell them about this website and the unique works of this artist.

Gorgeous photo on the bag. Loved that I could adjust the photo size to suit my preference. Wanted to use for going to the health food store as I need to replace the 15 year old canvas, washable bags I have now. These will not last as long as those canvas bags. I could even deal with slight fading when I needed to wash them. These do not feel washable. Cheap mesh "fabric" on the interior will tear. Disappointed in the fabric on the inside and outside.

I was hoping for a heavyweight cotton canvas bag to use for grocery shopping; this will not be it. I wanted a bag that would be washable. This has a cheap mesh fabric on the interior that will tear in short order. The exterior is some sort of nylon or other synthetic fabric that I do not feel comfortable washing. I guess I didn't realize what kind of fabric it was made of. It is beautiful but not useful for my needs.

Artist's Description

These amazing Tusheti men of the Caucasus still rake, stack, and remove hay by hand and ox cart. They are true indigenous "mountain men/women. They use swing blades also know as scythes- and wide handmade wooden rakes. They are a very hospitable fun people to visit with. Their ancestors were known as Scythians and were also masters of the bow, and were horse masters. I enjoyed being in the rare high Caucasus Mountain region of Tusheti; at the end of one of the 10 most dangerous roads in the world, as the BBC labels them. Can we spell white knuckles coming down? This is the view from my charming rustic guesthouse in Omalo Village., where I spent relaxing hours sketching and photographing, as well as riding a gorgeous Tusheti buckskin mare to a higher rare and rustic village, whirl obtaining mane hair samples from some of the world’s rarest ancient heirloom horse breed to send to equine geneticist, Dr. Gus Cothran of Texas A & M University.
