It's absolutely lovely! The picture arrived well-packaged and in a timely manner. I can't wait to give it to my friend.

I like the print on solid metal but it's much, much darker than expected, hiding the most interesting details of the work. My girlfriend still loves it but I'm very disappointed.

I bought this for my bathroom remodel in Paradise CA. The colors were vibrant and beautiful and the quality excellent. Unfortunately I never had time to take a picture of it in its new setting because my house burned down in the Camp Fire. Maybe we'll just have to move to Lake Chapala to enjoy the view.

It’s way too dark and that’s not problem of screens or what ever else. That’s unprofessional printing.

High quality and just beautiful. Highly recommended. Fine Art America’s work was exceptional.

Artist's Description

The Tuskegee Airmen is the popular name of a group of African American pilots who fought in World War II. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African American military aviators in the United States armed forces during World War II. The American military was racially segregated, as was much of the federal government. The Tuskegee Airmen were subject to racial discrimination, both within and outside the army. Despite these adversities, they trained and flew with distinction. Primarily made up of African Americans, there were also five Tuskegee Airmen that were of Haitian descent. The Tuskegee 332nd Fighter Group was the only operational unit, first sent overseas as part of Operation Torch, then in action in Sicily and Italy, before being deployed as bomber escorts in Europe where they were particularly successful in virtually all their missions. When the pilots of the 332nd Fighter Group painted the tails of their P-51's red, the nickname "Red Tails" was coined.

About Brian Hustead

I've been doing art for about 12 years and enjoy it very much. Every painting and drawing I've done and ever will do has a special meaning to me and something which I knew I had to express onto canvas. I enjoy art because of its ability to reach into your soul and magically transport you to another time, a simple place free from life's burdens, a place where you are one with your imagination and creativity. Mostly I do landscape paintings but also dabble is a number of different subjects, as you can probably see. My favorite Art Movement is Impressionism, Monet, Gustave, Cezanne, Degas, Renoir, and Van Gogh, just to name a few. Thanks for visiting my site.
