Wow! Thank you Piotr! At last, someone noticed my accordian!!!! It's an instrument that has withstood time and continuously reinvents itself. Thank you! Now, I think I'll go play.

I am in love with "My Tropical Kitchen" purse. I also am deeply dissatisfied however, that there is no mention of Jade Moon's name on the product. Her work is more than worthy of her name to be associated with her beautiful products. People constantly mention that my purse is beautiful as I display it on a counter at a point of sale. I have to tell them whose work it is. Everyone recognizes her name. Jade Moon deserves recognition for her talent as an artist; her name should be on the product. PX Pixels is meaningless to me. I wish it wasn't sewed in to the seam. I am so proud of my "My Tropical Kitchen" purse. I bought it for myself on my 80th birthday. I would be thrilled if Jade could autograph it for me. I am sorry I have no means to take or send a photo.

Artist's Description

This little piece of cafe/music art was inspired by my own childhood memories of learning the accordian minus the cappucinno. The accordian was wildly popular when I was a young girl and being of European parents I was destined for lessons. I was 7 years old, wearing my communion dress (definitely needed to be worn more than once) and played Cuckoo Polka. I stopped playing the accordian around 11. One long cold winter, in my 5th decade of life I pulled out my old instrument. The leather straps disintegrated in my hands so I improvised by attaching straps from a duffle bag. I picked up the instrument and to my absolute surprise..............Cuckoo Polka flew out of my fingers!!! An important lesson in how...

About Barbara McMahon

Barbara McMahon

Barbara McMahon is an artist that paints and photographs the beauty, the humanity and the unseen moments on this planet with a passion that is deeply rooted within her psyche. From an early age, Barbara felt and saw what seemed unnoticed by others. Usually inspired by something she has witnessed in nature or by the emotions evoked by music or human and animal connection, Barbara is compelled to capture that scene with a passion and desire to share with as many people as possible. Barbara paints in watercolour, oil and acrylic to portray her visions, but of late has begun to capture the split second in time with an average Canon DSLR camera. Without a telephoto lens she is often intimately and at times, dangerously close to her...
