TWO GREAT WONDERS IS A 50" X 90" OIL ON CANVA PAINTING BY PETER OLSEN PORTRAYING THE NARRATIE OF REVELATION CHAPTER 12, VERSES 1-4. A GREAT WONDER APPEARED IN HEAVEN - A WOMAN, TRAVAILING IN BIRTH, CLOTHED WITH THE SUN AND THE MOON AT HER FEET. UPON HER HEAD WAS A CROWN OF TWELVE STARS. ANOTHER WONDER APPEARED, GREAT RED DRAGON WITH SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS, AND SEVEN CROWNS UPON HIS HEADS. ITS TAIL DREW ONE-THIRD OF THE STARS OF HEAVEN AND CAST THEM TO THE EARTH. IT STOOD WAITING FOR HER CHILD TO BE DELIVERED THAT IT MIGHT DEVOUR IT.
