Description

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Andr�ustave Citro�(Born February 2, 1878 and died July 3, 1935 in Paris) was a French entrepreneur of Dutch descent. He is remembered chiefly for the make of car named after him. Andr�ustave was the fifth and last child of the Dutch Jewish diamond merchant Levie Citroen and Mazra Kleinmann (of Warsaw, Poland). The Citroen family moved to Paris from Amsterdam in 1873 where the name changed to Citro� Andr�as a graduate of the �ole Polytechnique in 1900. During World War I, he was responsible for mass production of armaments. Andr�itro�started converting the ammunition factory of the Quai de Javel in Paris. Inspired by the industrial model put into practice by Henri Ford in the US, Andr�itro�decided to import modern working methods in order to manufacture robust, economical cars in large numbers. His ambition was to mass produce cars (he dreamt of a thousand vehicles a day) in order to bring prices down and so...

After having exhibited at MOMA, Museum of Modern in New York and other museums like Musée Fournaise in Paris – with Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Claude Monet - artist Asbjorn Lonvig, Denmark has decided to release this collection after 25 years of withholding - and the appellation ”vintage” might be appropriate. The works are printed serigraphicly - one color at the time. The works ar closed edition and any printing tools have been distroyed eliminating reprint. All works are thorughly numbered and signed by Asbjorn Lonvig and authesisity is certified in an 'authensity certified' label on the back of the work. Asbjorn Lonvig's works are distinguished by his consequent style Colorful Simplicity - that is simple shapes in bright colors....
