This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
The Lockheed P-3 Orion is a four-engine turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft based on the L-188 Electra commercial airliner, first delivered to the US Navy in 1962. This plane is most easily recognized by its tail stinger, a "MAD Boom", used for magnetic detection of submarines. This early P-3A (or "Alpha" model) is on static display at the recently decommissioned Naval Air Station in Brunswick, Maine. The P-3 is still in 12 active duty patrol squadrons, two reserve squadrons, and four special project squadrons in the US, as well as in numerous foreign Navy and Air Forces. The P-3 has a flight endurance of 14+ hours with a range of 5000 nautical miles, has a maximum speed of 410 knots, and carries a crew of 13. While I was in the Navy, I flew in the "Bravo" model for 11 years, serving in Patrol Squadron Eleven, based on the U.S. Atlantic coast at NAS Brunswick with deployments worldwide, and functioned as a Sensor Operator and what else? About Guy Whiteley
I was raised in northern New York State before joining the US Navy where I became drawn to the technical aspects of film photography. During my travels I learned composition techniques, developing, and printing from serious amateurs and professionals. I eventually became more interested in the artistic side of this hobby and continued to explore more creative aspects. My interests focus (no pun intended) on the out-of-doors beauty of our world, both natural and man-made. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed capturing them.
