Pastel - Pastel And Charcoal On 98lb Acid-free Daler Rowney Ingres Paper.
In the Bulkley Valley in British Columbia, Canada one still finds abandoned and ruined wooden pioneer barns standing on farms which are slowly disintegrating. They are a poignant reminder of how life used to be here, a standing testimony to brave and strong people who lived with nature and the land. And each year they appear to melt further into the ground. One day there will be none standing anymore.
