I believe the original of this hangs on the wall of my mother's house, next to a canvas print you made of the Owasco. The two are framed and lighted and hang above the boxed and folded American flag used at the military burial afforded my dad, who served on the Ingham and the Owasco. Your paintings above the flag make a powerful statement about the lives led by the men and women of the United States Coast Guard. Thank you. I salute you.

Yes, I painted the Ingham for your mother, but the one you responded about was the first one I did. She decided she wanted a larger size, so the other Ingham painting on my website is the one she has. I saw your mother and Mrs Teel in Waterford last week. Thanks for your comments. Bill
