Beautiful works of photography and prose, Nina! v/f and voted!

Nina Fosdick replied:

Thanks so much Diannah! :)

Wow Nina, this is so beautiful and the prose you have written explains the emotions of the image perfectly! v/f fb

Nina Fosdick replied:

Thanks so much Susan!!! The prose seemed to flow that day. I rarely write prose but have been thinking about it more and more. Often when I shoot a scene it seems to speak to me and/or touch a cord inside. I see the poetry in yours as well :)

This is so cool Nina! voted and fv

Nina Fosdick replied:

Thank you Val, glad you liked it :)

I agree that this is exceptional. It glows from the interior.

Nina Fosdick replied:

Thanks so much Rosemarie , very appreciated :)

Nina, I noticed your interesting image in the Power of your Heart Contest and gave it a vote there. When I came to have a closer look and discovered your wonderful prose, I was totally in awe. What a moving exceptional piece!!! There are so many incredible lines, and it has so much to say. I just love it! I'm going to copy and paste it so that I can remember and re-read it. Very Well Done!

Nina Fosdick replied:

Thanks so much Cheri.. I'm so glad you took the time to read my prose and that you plan to save it..I'm very honored. I dont write very often ( the longest thing ever was a 50pg testimony) but if I write its generally prose or a poem. I really dont type fast so that hinders me a bit. I did write a semi humorous piece that an artist's work , TimothyG, inspired http://www.bluecanvas.com/blog-post/4379

UNSPOKEN >>Breezed in and moving so fast avoiding the words hanging silently. >> The spaces between what could never truly be.>> Inability to speak and change the patterns of a life gone astray. >> Dangling edges of tomorrows that can not appear.>> Reading words and hearing songs sitting in the recesses of shadows.>> Hopes, dreams and even cold fears stillborn.>> In the middle a sudden voice applied well crafted dagger wounds. >> So selfishly ill intended yet healed hearts.>> Revealed that cruel hand now silenced by miles and time gone past. >> Unexpected twists in the path not trod.>> Sometimes in the darkness of the void between one ponders.>> What joys and heartaches the poet life might have been.>> Dancing on moonbeams on icey nights of prussian blue heavens, >> With snowflake stars falling like tears.>> Casting aside all for the madness of verses and visions. >> Floating songs recklessly skyward. >> But then the purity would have been destroyed and imprisoned. >> The soul bound to rusted cold lies.>> No other way but this to wander would bring lasting comfort.>> This path marred by lingering regret.>> The settled knowing that hearts can err through lifes pitfalls.>> Better to keep one steady fixed.>> Yet watching birds soar southwards memories unbidden return.>> Enough left to remember and not much to forgive.>> © Nina Fosdick

This piece is stunning. The composition is superbe - thank you Brent Jones! - and the piece lends itself well to the aluminum. I am agape every time I look at this piece, and so are my friends! I will seek out other works by this artist, and will both order from Fine Art America - and recommend this company with confidence and pleasure!!!

We loved the shopping experience AND the beautiful picture we bought! It was great to be able to shop sizes and finishes/treatments to get just what we needed for the space where the picture was hung. The quality of these pictures printed on metal is just stunning. The colors just POP! It is sort of like having a picture window in the room, allowing us to gaze at the Maroon Bells all day long!

A great shot of an amazing statue, completing my collection (for now, anyway) of classic Greek and Roman gods. Printing on aluminum brings out the detail beautifully, and, as always, the shipping was on time, the picture carefully packed. Pixels, you're the best.

Love this piece of art. It's exactly what I thought it would be. Couldn't be happier!

As soon as I saw this original from Kylie I knew I wanted it. I was so happy when she started offering prints. I purchased the Chief on metal. Looks great in our condo. I highly recommend her work.
