Description
When we were pre-teen, our father took us hiking in a mountain surrounding Port-au-Prince. The mountain name is "Morne de L'Hopital". Nowadays, it is not usual for us to be gathered in one place at a time. We ladies,(each one of us), live in a different Borough in New York. Our only brother lives in Florida. On June 4, 2011, an unfortunate circumstance reunites us all: the sudden passing of our first cousin, Maurice Joel Seide, on May 30, 2011. From right to left: Gladys, Nicole, Micheline, Edith, and Serge Faublas.

I love this family picture. I am sorry that sadness brought you together. Please accept my sympathy in the loss of your cousin. So many times I have not seen my relatives for a long time until we are together for a funeral. It is a bittersweet feeling. However, I am glad you all were together. Thanks for your comments. aew
Nicole Jean-Louis replied:
Thank you so much, Anne. It is true Anne, by all odds, most of the time, everybody will gather at a funeral. Planned, joyous family reunion is another alternative that does not occur easily.
