This mural was a rare one, celebrating the heroic Chaplain Corps of the military, was found on Camp Ali Al Salem, Kuwait during the 2011 Summer Expedition to Kuwait and Iraq. What many civilians don't realize is that Chaplains go into combat without weapons and though they have an assistant that is armed, they take their very lives in their hands on every mission they attend. We have the utmost respect for the Chaplain Corps and I, personally, have had the pleasure of getting close to two of them, one for my first deployment and the other which became his replacement. A great mural dedicated to a truly heroic calling, the Chaplain.
