The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

USS Pampanito - Vintage Submarine
Vintage military transportation photograph by Connie Fox
During World War II, this vintage submarine, the USS Pampanito, sank six enemy ships and damaged four others. The submarine is on display at Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39, in San Francisco, California, USA. Onboard tours give visitors an idea of what life was like for the crew.
Offered also as a black-and-white photo in keeping with that era. This one is grayish-blue with a bright-blue sky, large white clouds, and blue-gray ocean. Absolutely no photo-retouching to the ship itself. Minimal noise reduction in order to preserve historical details.

This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I enjoy making scenes look interesting and natural, as I saw them, and worthy of a place in your home, your office, your life. For 15 years I worked as a dental hygienist. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...
