I have been following the research into the Shroud of Turin for the last 40 years. I was so happy that Ray Downing made a portrait based upon the Shroud. I was very struck by the beauty and sensitivity of the portrait. I have it hanging in my living room right where I can see it most often every day. I bought the portrait on wood and am very happy with it. Thank you, Mr. Downing, for bringing this to the attention of so many people.

About Guillem H Pongiluppi
Guillem H. Pongiluppi, Barcelona 1981. He is a freelance illustrator specializing in historical research and virtual archeology. He works in art direction, conceptual art and matte painting for pre-production, and post-production for audiovisual and videogames. He has collaborated very closely with Didpatri, a cultural and research institution, who work on Didactics and Historical heritage for the University of Barcelona. With Didpatri he’s worked on several projects based on the XVIII century, as well as the virtual reconstruction of Empúries, the Born neighborhood, or the roman city of Calafell.
