We were walking away from the Abbazia di Fossanova. I took this structure to be an out building but part of the abbey. With a little translation I now recant that thought. No matter the owner they were lovely in their age, style & colors. They were also worth being left behind in order to compose and take the photograph. This was a major sacrifice as we were on our walking way to Il Giardino which meant acqua frizzante, wine, and pizza. At this point in a long day such a refreshing goal was really more important than photographing this lovely spot. I was up to the sacrifice as I did make dinner, but I was the last to arrive.
