Congrats on your sale, Carolyn!

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thanks so much, Carol. It's nice being able to see how customers frame the prints, too.

Congrats on Your Beautiful Sale!!!

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thank you, Beverly.

Revisited....Wonderful, moving image and congrats on your sale! I served with the Combat Engineers, Vietnam "67-'68........L/F.......Thank You!

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thank you for your service, Reid! My husband served with the 432nd SPS K9 in Vietnam '71-'72. Our veterans hold a very special place in my heart.

As a veteran of that war, I am always glad to see that it has reached out to the heart of another collector. An excellent tribute to those listed on The Wall that did not make it back home to their loved ones, as well as to their friends who did. Well done Carolyn, congratulations and best wishes!

Carolyn Marshall replied:

And I am grateful to you and your service, Mel. It is very humbling to me to hear some of the feedback I get. This piece has been around for quite some time and I've talked to people at events who were very touched by it. That blesses me, too!

Its a moving picture Carolyn. Congratulations on a well deserved sale.

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thank you, Norman. Our veterans are very special to me.

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thank you, Kathy. They are all awesome guys - as are all our vets, past and present!

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thank you, David.

Thanks for the comments and congrats, Mike and Marvin.

Wonderful tribute, Carolyn. Congratulations. - Mike

Congrats on your sale Carolyn!!!

Thank you very much for your comments and congrats Maria, Richard and Irina.

Friends are there.........Congrats!.......Carry On!

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Reid, my heart and prayers go out to you. Through my husband who is a Vietnam veteran, I see so many veteran friends and family from many wars and conflicts still dealing with heartbreak. For those of us who weren't "there", we can't begin to understand. So we do the best we can by loving, supporting and praying for those who served and the ones who stood by them.

Congrats on your sale!

So touching!

Impressive work! t

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thank you so much. A lot of heart and gratitude for our veterans' sacrifices went into this piece.

I am truly blessed by all the beautiful comments and support on this image. Thank you all so much, Paul, Brian, and Judy. It is an honor to have placed so highly in this contest and to bring attention to the patriots who have served our country selflessly and, in some cases, gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Congratulations Carolyn. Heart felt scene. Great work.

A very moving and beautiful tribute to those who valiantly served our beloved America. Greatly appreciate the honor given to those who served and gave their all in the Vietnam war. They are truly unsung heroes in military history. Congratulations on very well-deserved top placement in the recent FAA contest, "American Patriotism". Very well done, Carolyn! L/F

Congratulations on being a top finisher in the " American Patriotism " Contest, 6/30/15! This image was chosen as an Honorable Mention and will be a special feature on the "Landscape and Landmark Photography" group home page for the month of June.

Amen and amen to their sacrifice. Always a moving experience for me whenever I visit. - Mike (V)

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thank you, Mike. It breaks my heart to see some of the vets visiting. Sometimes the pain of remembering is more than they can handle. But, for most, it is time of healing.

I am always glad to see this one on the sales page. An excellent and moving tribute to our Vietnam Veterans, the ones who made it home and the ones who did not. Congratulations on another sale, Carolyn!

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thank you, Mel. Each time I see this one sell, I know that a special veteran (or the family) is going to be honored. Makes me feel good to know that I could be a small part of that.

Thank you to the buyer in Charleston, SC, for your purchase of this image. May it bring great peace to those who view it wherever it finds its home.

Congrats on your sale! Such a heartfelt capture..Beautifully done.

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Thank you so much, Fiona. I really appreciate it.

Thank you Carolyn for this wonderful image. I have been to this memorial on several occasions. As a 3 tour veteran of Vietnam I hope that at some point during this Memorial weekend all will bow their heads for a moment in respect for those names who appear on this wall, of which I certainly know a few. "You Are Never Forgotten" I have shared this on my Vietnam Board on Pinterest.

Carolyn Marshall replied:

Christopher, first I would like to say thank you for your service to our country. My husband is also a Vietnam veteran, 2 tours. As long as I can, I will continue to do my part so that none of our veterans are ever forgotten. May God bless you and your family!
