San Gimignano was a place that struck me during a semester abroad in Italy while attending art school at Syracuse University. I have a little bit of Italian roots, so I feel very connected to the country and land. The view overlooking the rolling Tuscan hills from the hill town of San Gimignano was breathtaking and became the impetus for several landscapes.
