Description

This is a highly layered piece of digital art, based on a collection of vintage and modern designs. It includes swirly backgrounds from vintage book covers, 'bokeh' effect circles, watercolour textures and flowers, and grunge/messy textures. In all, eight plates have been lovingly layered together to create a fusion of texture, color and light.

The predominant color is red, which merges into yellow, orange, purple, even sepia and slight green. The original book pattern swirls look like abstract rose flower swirls.

Sitting on the heart is the word "LOVE" taken from a vintage "100 Alphabets" book of lettering styles (the letter style is "Uncials", to be precise).

The artwork features a huge array of abstract patterning, meaning there's always something different to see, particularly when you get close to it.
