Description
This is a 1950 Studebaker Champion bullet nose coupe. 1950 was Studebaker's all time highest production year, the high point of over 100 years of vehicle-building by Studebaker. Studebakers occupy a major place in the life and museum of Bernardo Eggers. Studebakers (1852-1966) were the first autos to capture Eggers' heart with a 1961 Hawk. Eggers founded Auto Museum Moncopulli, the first auto museum in Chile, in the lake region of Osorno in 1995. More than 50 Studebakers are displayed, the largest collection outside the USA, along with other marques and antiques. Due to the tightly packed collection, the roof trusses, and the reflections, it is enormously difficult to get a real "glamor shot" of any one car, so this required many hours of digital retouching.
