Nothing beats an early morning hike when the light is just right. This image is taken during one early morning hike at Zion National Park towards the bottom trying to reach the Virgin River. The Virgin River is a tributary of the Colorado River and runs throughout the park. The river is about 160 miles (260 km) long, and was designated Utah's first wild and scenic river in 2009 during the centennial celebration of Zion National Park.
