This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
Sepia toning renders a nostalgic feel to this view of the Mabry Mill. Often touted as the most photographed spot in Virginia, one can see why. The mill, constructed by Edwin Boston Mabry, served the local area for several decades in the early 20th century as a blacksmith and wheelwrights shop, and later as a sawmill and gristmill. The mill and surrounding structures have been renovated and maintained by the National Park Service and volunteers who present these period activities for visitors stopping along the Parkway. About Michael Mazaika

Maybe a lot like you. I am a lover of history and of our country; privileged to have seen a few other lands and their people; grateful for the sight that I have been given on loan; blessed by the scenes before me and the vision to see what they may look like at another hour and in another season. When I gave my life to Christ it was the fulfillment of the faithful prayers of many others on my behalf. There was no resounding...

Vintage Mike, well done.
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thanks, Skip. If I recall, it was starting to drizzle - a lot. And there were folks inside the mill house looking out of a window right in my line of sight. I got wet but eventually waited out the window. I’m sure you have many waiting stories, too. - Mike
