The beach pictured here is one of the most unusual and interesting places that I have had the opportunity to explore and to photograph. The boulders are eroded in the most interesting manner. Large honeycomb sandstone that is quite dense as it shows little effect from human visitations. The sandstone takes on some very wild shapes with the boulders securely attached to the beach itself with very few, if any, other rocks laying around loose. The Pacific Ocean has obviously done most of the erosion along with the heavy winds and rain no doubt acting in unison to create these marvelous boulder shapes. A pleasure to see and to photograph on the coastline of Oregon, USA.
