Bath Towel Reviews (194)

Average Rating (4.11 Stars):

October 12th, 2019

This towel was less than I had hoped for. This artwork is colorful and stunning on the computer, but on a towel it came out washed out. It doesn't do justice to this wonderful painting. I do like how easily the towel dries, though. So I keep it and enjoy it for that reason.

Quality great the color wasn’t what I expected should have been black and white but they look more like charcoal and white.

Artist's Description

Realistic acrylic painting of the Volkswagen Beetle, painted by the Dutch fine artist Paul Meijering - the Original painting is 120 x 90 cm and for sale The Volkswagen Beetle (officially the Volkswagen Type 1, informally in Germany the Volkswagen Kever and in the U.S. as Volkswagen Bug) is a two-door, four passenger, rear-engine economy car manufactured and marketed by German automaker Volkswagen (VW) from 1938 until 2003. The leader of Nazi Germany wished for a cheap, simple car to be mass-produced for the new road network of his country. He contracted Ferdinand Porsche in 1934 to design and build it, after telling him in 1933 "This is the car for my roads" of the extremely similar Tatra V570. Porsche and his team took until 1938 to finalise the design, and said of the Tatra influence "sometimes I looked...

About Paul Meijering

Paul Meijering

For almost 33 years now, Paul Meijering has been active with the paint brushes. As a 17- year old inspired youngster he joined the Academy of Arts in Enschede (Holland) in order to receive a native training in drawing- and painting technique. After two years of useless botchery, there was only one conclusion to draw: "get autodidact, be a self-taught person!" Paul then left the academy to work for a living, but at the back of his mind there always loomed the passion of his life: to paint. At his spare time...
