Waimea Canyon - Kauai, Hawaii
Waimea Canyon on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai is a must see. This canyon is often referred to as the "Grand Canyon of Hawaii". This title is attributed to Mark Twain, although it is widely believed he never set foot on Kauai. There are many vantage points to see the depth and beauty of the Waimea Canyon.

As a fine art landscape photographer I find myself seeking the very best of nature. From sunrise to sunset, our planet never fails to provide a canvas on which to paint with light (literal definition of photography, light-writing). I can point back to the exact moment in time and space when I said, "I want to be a photographer." It was during my first visit to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. I was standing in front of Palette Springs and thought I had been transported through a wormhole to another planet. I snapped a few images with my cell phone and my photography career was born.
