Hi Brian, Thank for your nice comments ! I think your choices of subject matter are great, you have a good eye!

Hey Brian- we have similar inspiration thanks for the good word your work is great also. Love the shadows. Just curious have you ever heard of Be Gallery in NJ? They're no loger in business but I exhibited there years back with interesting results (like they sold a painting then closed without paying me and took the unsold paintings with them) got my work and money after 3 years.

The shadow definitely adds an interesting character to this piece. Often, in my own work, I find the shadow more interesting than the subject. Great job.

I love it!!

Bought for a fellow Navy veteran. He was beyond pleased, and so am I. Being able to choose such a unique mounting made the gift even "giftier" since it's so unique. Thanks - very pleased.

Sadly didn't turn out as nice as I had hoped. The picture is printed faintly and is hard to see well. Shipping and packaging was good.

I know the photographer and have a print of the original photo. I love the photo and the wood block - but not together. The photograph reproduced on the wood block lost saturation, vibrancy, sharpness. Very disappointing. I had to return it.

Artist's Description

This painting is of my two sons as we were waiting for our car in downtown Hackensack, NJ . It was late afternoon and the sun cast this very cool looking shadow over their heads.
