This is a transformed photo art called "Tibetan Women Waiting for the Karmappa Lama." It is a travel photo taken in India, near Dharamsala the residence in exile of the Dalai Lama. This is at the compound of the Karmappa lama, a young man much beloved by Tibetans. The photo is digitized and transformed into a unique kind of digital art. Travel in Asia always inspires me to create new artwork from the vivid images I experience while traveling. This digital art gives the appearance of being a photo and drawing at once, as if the women are rising up from the drawing board. This version is with a sepia "drawing" background.
