A herd of gorgeous sailing craft bob with the tides and wavelets at Pirates Cove Marina on West River near Annapolis Maryland on a sunny July afternoon. Clustered together you can almost hear them whisper and giggle together over their owners' latest adventures ... or misadventures!! Though the skies didn't portend storms and the temperatures were perfect for a day on the water, the pretty boats all stayed idle. Mondays are like that!

"Waiting For The Weekend" is another in the series of images I took at Pirates Cove Marina on the West River, near Annapolis, Maryland, July 16, 2012. I was using the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon/Nikkor lens.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence.
