Description
The Giant's Causeway in County Antrim, Northern Ireland has as wild a legend as its coastline. It is said that the Irish giant named Finn MacCool was challenged by the Scottish giant Brenandonnor and so Finn built a causeway from Northern Ireland to Scotland so they could meet in the middle for their challenge. Realizing the Scottish giant is much bigger than himself, Finn dresses as a baby and his wife tucks him into a cradle. When the Scotsman arrives and sees how huge the "baby" is, he runs away, fearing that the baby's father must indeed be huge, destroying the causeway behind him so that the father cannot follow. Storytelling at its Irish finest.
