This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

I wanted a photo that showed what a beast these things are, and this one really shows it.

I love to paint! Although I do have a serious side, I am usually smiling, especially when I am painting or viewing other artists' work on FAA and commenting. Thank you for viewing my FAA site. I like this very much, ae, although somewhat different from most of your other work stylistically. Makes me want to go out and find a quiet spot.

Thank you. It is finished now. So I can sell prints.

Hey, ya know, Michael, many great artists litterally did have Schools wherein the master would start and Line Out a painting and HIS (don't know of any women doing paintings then, but guess who did most of the grudge work on the marvelous tapestries!) (Space cops agaain. AND they won't allow any quotes or apostrophes!)

Anyway, the students would do the major journeyman's part. and then the master would put on finishing touches (probably, I would guess, touches that would identify it as his work to contemporaries). Rubens, Rembrandt and numerous artists on the continent to mention a few. My memory is going (never was too good nor well fed anyway!). (Continued!)

(Concluded) What the heck, many Bot Boilers in academia rely on graduate research assistants to carry out a lot of the documentation research or to manage laboratory experiments, canvas for data, etc. But there is a big difference in what I am talking about there and actual Collaboration, as with Anne-elizabeth and her wonderful dad. What a joyful event! But I started out to ask Anne if this landscape also was inspired by Tuscany? I\\\'m betting yes.

Your Dad would be proud!! Its a wonderful work!!

Thank you for your comment. I plan to finish this oil painting soon. Then I will post the completed work. My Dad started this painting about ten years ago. He always painted with oils "Pop" 's birthday is August 22, 1908. He would have been 100 years old soon.

Good for you. Picking up someone else's work is not easy. If the terrain were more moutainous, it would remind me of a lot of what I see in WV.
