Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Artist's Description
The first time I saw this kind of line (seen in the background here) was on a pad of paper near an old-fashion land-line telephone. Remember, the ones where you had to sit or stand still to use? Apparently someone had a long phone conversation and was doodling for a while. I loved the design! This was twenty years ago and I’ve finally incorporated it into an art piece!
The background is a single wandering oil pastel line that changes color as it goes along. I took diluted acrylic paint and wiped it over the line to create the wash of blue and purple, then added the final textured layers.
Depending on the way you hold the picture, you can imagine different figures. This way shown makes me see a red butterfly. Rotated to the left, the picture seems to show a man dancing, so I was going to call this, “Fire Dance,” but decided to leave it abstract and up to the viewer’s imagination.
About Danielle Rosaria
Greetings! I am so happy to be a part of this amazing worldwide community or artists. I come from a family of creative people and am grateful to my parents for cultivating my creativity which is now part of my daily life. I am a classically-trained musician and violinist with a doctorate in violin performance and until recently was the director and conductor of the La Verne Symphony Orchestra which I am happy to say still flourishes in that city. At the moment I've left the stage in order to raise our two little babies. Being a mom is what I do now. And the challenge is weaving creativity into this new life. This is how I rediscovered my love for visual arts (and which is also why you will see babies in many of my works!). I have a deep...

SUCH A FUN PAINTING, Danielle!...this reminds me of Cornelli Lacework on vintage teapots and Fine piping on wedding cakes! Not an easy pattern to master as it truly appears random yet involves quite a bit of precisioned spacing! WONDERFUL artwork! LF
Danielle Rosaria replied:
Thank you so much, Laurel! Your comment makes me smile! I love vintage teapots and piping on cakes! Wonderful comparisons! :-)
