Pop art by Andy Warhol often combined many images of the same item, perhaps in different colors, lined up in a row or rows. Vincent Van Gogh was know for his swirling, bright colored paintings. Although they were of different eras and with different styles, I chose to combine the pop of Warhol with the painting methods of Van Gogh to create this abstract image of sixteen dinner plates. The square image is perfect for a pillow, duvet, or for hanging on a wall.

John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others.
