I bought this for Christmas for my daughter-in-law who just visited Barcelona. She’s going to love it! It’s a beautiful piece and I really like the print mounted on wood.

Came out sepia color. I may have requested that by mistake. Other than that it’s good.

The artwork is stunning. The mounting on wood was awful and actually damaged the print. Had to be returned due to damage.

This particular scene is from a place very near my father’s house and the memorial bench for his late wife. He himself has taken many similar photographs of this beautiful spot. I love this photograph. I had hoped that having it printed on wood would give it additional depth and character. Unfortunately, the wood grain obscures many areas of the image. I regret not simply having it printed on canvas or having a regular framed print made.

This is simple and elegant and lovely printed on wood and hung next to a Bee by the same artist. We’re Poppy and Beebee to our grandkids so they love seeing them in the guest room.

This is very sweet, printed on wood, in a powder room.

Artist's Description

The Long Island Chapter of The Nature Conservancy is actively addressing the alarming changes to the regions shorelines in the wake of Superstorm Sandya traumatic event that was a wakeup call to anyone who still doubts that extreme weather is part of our futureand our present! The seemingly fixed borders between land and sea, land and bays, and even land and ponds have proven malleable and mutable. Sited on the long brick wall and curbside land of TNCs East Hampton headquarters, this installation addresses the two equally doomed strategies for arresting coastal erosion: 1. The brick wall stands for the hard solution of erecting rigid seawalls, barriers that eventually erode beaches altogether. 2. The sand dunes and twisted and broken sand fence represent the soft solution of repeatedly replenishing the dunes, buying time at great effort and cost.
