It was the Europe ‘72 album that exposed me to the Grateful Dead (around 1975 when I was in high school in Shaker Heights, Ohio). The wonderful music, and this artwork has stuck with me ever since. I love this mug… And I love the 15 ounce size, and also appreciate the professional service and free shipping! Thank you, Fine Art America!

I love the artwork. Unfortunately the image got cut off at the bottom and the latin names are printed too small to read. But I still love the mug anyways.

Made exactly as I customized this beautiful & historic work of art. The colors pop making the art come alive! Love it! I would be 100% better if they offered the same art on both sides of the mug so that you actually see it while using it. 90% of mugs are made with the subject on both sides for this reason.

So, even though I do not have any type of formal art degree, painting has been a very large part of my life. In the 1980s my dentist became my painting mentor. I'd never painted with watercolors and wanted to explore the new medium. He painted in his spare time and eventually retired from dentistry to paint full time. His recommendation to me was to paint 100 paintings of any subject, no matter the outcome, to learn how to control the medium. I...
