I did not recieve this yoga mat that I orderd.
This picture I took of the sand under my foot in Death Valley in the Mesquite Sand Dunes on a hillside that turned out to be very hard to stand on. That is probably why the sand had these curves--helped by the wind of course.

Death Valley is located in California, just around the border of Nevada, in fact it is a much shorter trip to visit from Las Vegas area than from the California large cities. It is nested between mountain ranges that erode each year but as a result of tectonic plate movement, we were told the debris created as a result of erosion does not have a chance to fill in the entire valley itself. Death Valley is well known for it's summer heat that kills many living things--it is the hottest place in the US; temperatures at the lower elevations can easily exceed 120F (49C). It is also the deepest place in the US, nearly 300 feet below sea level.
