These Wax Lips Orchids are in flower all through the woodlands of Southern Australia in Spring. Their proper name is Glossodia Major, but they have another common name - Parson In The Pulpit. Found at Hochkins Ridge Flora Reserve in Croydon North, Victoria, australia.
About Graham Palmer
Graham Palmer is a retired business manager, living in Melbourne, Australia. Used to manage a chain of photo shops back in the 1980s & 1990s, & sold slides to nature magazines, such as Australian Geographic, Geo, Overlander, etc. After retiring in Dec. 2011, he took up digital photography, & now sells nature & wildlife images all over the world.
