Description
Madrid, New Mexico is a census-designated place in Santa Fe County and a recovered ghost town. This very weathered house is one of the original homes built back in the day when coal mining prospered. Nestled in junk and clutter, it is part of the main street of Madrid (pronounced MAD-rid) and joins art galleries, bars, and other creative shops for tourists dropping in from Santa Fe.

Awesome find and capture, Toni. I've got a couple like this up in PA that I've been keeping an eye on and tried a shot or two. Pretty sure they're both still occupied so hard to get "the" angle ... you've done it perfectly here!!!! Great story-telling image!!! l/f
