Webcor (the Webster Co., operating under that and similar names) opened in 1914 in Chicago, making radios, PA systems, and more. Webster-Chicago phonographs and record changers, like this one from the 1950s, were among the finest available in their time. The company continued to produce consumer electronics until it closed in 1967.
