Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.
Artist's Description
Western Lowland Gorilla With Intensity In His Eyes
This digital portrait features a close view of a Western Lowland Gorilla. The largest ape on the planet that do not eat any meat. He has a human like face and his eyes are looking directly at the camera with a strong stair. You can't help yourself in wondering what must me going on in his mind. I am a big fan of Planet Of the Apes and admire Dr. Jane Goodhall for her studies of apes for over 4 decades. These animals are so amazing and smart. Gorillas are from the tropical forests of Western Africa as well as Central and Eastern Africa. The gorillas are diurnal animals. Herbivores and feeding themself with fruits and leaves. They can climb trees but their massive and muscular body makes it awkard for them to be moving easily in branches. Males can weigh between 140 and 275 kg (300 to 600 lbs) and that of a female can vary between 60 and 140 kg (130 to 300 lbs). They have a very developed sense of smell. They mostly live in groups...

Thank you Debb Starr ..you are going to be impressed to see this video of the gorilla KoKo that Robin Williams got to be friend with in 2001. Koko had lost her mate of 30 years and was depressed. Apes are really intelligent . She can sign language and talk with human ..No body was able to get her to feel better after the mate passing away..Robin got to koko and talk sign language with her , share juice and food..and play tickles She was having a great time and was laughing for the first time since her mate was gone! You must see that video to appreciate how unbelievable the understanding that they are able to do! Robin shared that same respect towards apes as I do..She knows and understand that (Robin is now deceased and she is also grieving his loss as we all do.) For having be a fan of Dr. Jane Goodhall and her long study with apes..their is no doubts in my mind that they are very aware! https://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fuk.yahoo.com%2Fmovies%2Fkoko-the-gorilla-cries-over-robin-williams-94619476571.html&h=jAQH9jEbk

It would be interesting to know how and what they perceive in their environment -- probably much more than humans give them credit for... GREAT capture of a thought provoking expression!
